Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: City Tour in Cusco

• Upon arrival at Cusco Airport, Llasac Travel staff will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in the city.
• You’ll have time to acclimate to the altitude and adapt to your surroundings before beginning your adventure.
• In the afternoon, the City Tour in Cusco will begin, where we’ll explore the city’s main attractions.
• We’ll head to the historic center of Cusco in private transportation.
• Our first destination will be Cusco Cathedral, located in the main square, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour to learn about its rich history and architecture.
• We’ll then walk to Qoricancha, known as the Temple of the Sun, an iconic site illustrating the fusion of Inca and Spanish cultures.
• After completing our visit to Qoricancha, we’ll head to the outskirts of Cusco.
• The first stop will be Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Site, where our Llasac Travel guide will explain the importance of its majestic walls.
• Next, we’ll continue to Qenqo, a mysterious ceremonial site we’ll also visit.
• To conclude our tour, we’ll visit Pucapucara and Tambomachay, where you’ll learn more about Inca history and culture.
• After the tour, we’ll return to Cusco in private transportation.
• Finally, we’ll drop you off at your hotel so you can rest and prepare for the exciting activities in the coming days.

Day 2: Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes

• The day will begin with a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Cusco, prepared by Llasac Travel.
• Our transportation will pick you up at your hotel (additional arrangements may be needed for hotels outside the city center).
• We’ll make a stop at Taray viewpoint to enjoy stunning views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas and take memorable photos.
• Next, we’ll visit Pisaq Archaeological Site, where our guide will provide valuable information about the site’s history.
• We’ll then explore Pisaq’s artisan market, where you’ll have the opportunity to buy unique souvenirs.
• Afterward, we’ll head to Urubamba for a buffet lunch at a restaurant recommended by Llasac Travel (details will be in your itinerary).
• Following lunch, we’ll visit Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site with a guided tour.
• After the tour, we’ll board the train to Aguas Calientes. The journey lasts approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, with breathtaking Andean landscapes.
• Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes train station, Llasac Travel staff will transfer you to your hotel.
• You’ll have a briefing with your Llasac Travel guide to prepare for your visit to Machu Picchu the next day.
• Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Day 3: Full-Day Machu Picchu

• Start the day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Aguas Calientes, organized by Llasac Travel.
• The Llasac Travel team will escort you to the bus station in Aguas Calientes for the trip to Machu Picchu.
• Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a 2-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu, led by a professional guide who will share fascinating insights about this iconic site.
• After the tour, return to Aguas Calientes by bus.
• Enjoy a delicious lunch in Aguas Calientes, organized by Llasac Travel.
• We’ll then take the train back to Ollantaytambo, followed by private transportation back to Cusco.
• Once in Cusco, Llasac Travel will transfer you to your hotel to rest after a day of exploration.

Day 4: Humantay Lagoon Tour

• Depart early without breakfast for Humantay Lagoon, organized by Llasac Travel.
• Take private transportation to Mollepata, where you’ll enjoy breakfast before the hike.
• Continue to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike.
• Hike approximately 1 hour to Humantay Lagoon with our guide sharing insights about the landscape.
• Spend time at the lagoon for photos and exploration.
• Return to Soraypampa for a delicious lunch.
• Head back to Cusco and overnight at your hotel.

Day 5: Rainbow Mountain Tour

• Start early with a trip to Cusipata for breakfast before the hike.
• Hike approximately 1 hour to Rainbow Mountain.
• Enjoy time at the summit for photos and to appreciate the natural beauty.
• Return to Cusipata for lunch and then back to Cusco.

Day 6: End of the Journey

• Have breakfast at your hotel.
• Enjoy a free day before your airport transfer.
• Farewell from Llasac Travel.
