Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: City Tour in Cusco
- Upon your arrival at Cusco airport, Llasac Travel staff will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco.
- Once at the hotel, you will have time to acclimatize to the altitude.
- In the afternoon, we will begin the City Tour in Cusco.
- The tour starts with Llasac Travel transportation to the city center.
- Our first stop will be the Cusco Cathedral, located in the Main Square.
- After a guided visit to the Cathedral, we will walk to Qoricancha.
- Qoricancha, or the Temple of the Sun, is a place where Inca and Spanish cultures merge.
- After visiting Qoricancha, we will leave Cusco to visit the Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Site, where our Llasac Travel guide will explain the significance of its impressive walls.
- Next, we will visit Qenqo, an ancient ceremonial site.
- To conclude the tour, we will stop at Pucapucara and Tambomachay to learn more about the Incas.
- Return to Cusco and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: Full-Day Sacred Valley Tour
- Breakfast at your hotel in Cusco.
- Llasac Travel transportation will pick you up at your hotel (if located in the city center; otherwise, additional transport must be arranged).
- Our first stop will be the Taray viewpoint, where you can take photos of the Sacred Valley.
- We will visit the Pisac Archaeological Site.
- Stop at the Pisac artisan market to shop for souvenirs.
- Then we will head to Urubamba for a buffet lunch (restaurant to be confirmed).
- After lunch, we will visit the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site with a guided tour.
- We will continue to Chinchero for a guided visit of the archaeological site and its artisan market.
- Return to Cusco and transfer to your hotel.
Day 3: Full-Day Machu Picchu Tour
- Breakfast at your hotel in Cusco.
- Pickup by Llasac Travel transportation and transfer to Ollantaytambo train station.
- Train journey to Aguas Calientes.
- Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, Llasac Travel staff will receive you.
- Transfer to the bus station for the journey to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary.
- Entry to the Sanctuary and enjoy a 2-hour guided tour with your Llasac Travel guide.
- After the tour, take the bus back to Aguas Calientes.
- Buffet lunch in Aguas Calientes.
- Free time to explore the Aguas Calientes artisan market or Machu Picchu Pueblo.
- At the indicated time, board the train back to Ollantaytambo.
- Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, Llasac Travel transportation will take you back to Cusco.
- Return to your hotel in Cusco.
Day 4: Southern Valley Tour in Cusco
- Breakfast at your hotel in Cusco.
- Pickup by Llasac Travel for the Southern Valley Tour.
- Travel south of Cusco to visit the Tipón Archaeological Site, where you will learn about its beautiful canals and streets.
- Continue to Pikillaqta for a guided tour of this ancient site.
- Visit the Church of Andahuaylillas, known as the Sistine Chapel of America.
- Return to Cusco and transfer to your hotel.
Day 5: Humantay Lagoon Tour
- Early departure with Llasac Travel (no breakfast at the hotel).
- Travel to Mollepata, where we will have breakfast.
- Continue the journey to Soraypampa.
- Start the hike from Soraypampa to Humantay Lagoon (approximately 1 hour).
- Enjoy the views and learn about the lagoon with your guide.
- Return to Soraypampa for lunch.
- Travel back to Cusco and transfer to your hotel.
Day 6: Half-Day Maras Moray Tour
- Breakfast at your hotel.
- Pickup by Llasac Travel for the tour to Maras, Moray, and the Salt Mines.
- First stop in Chinchero to learn about traditional techniques of dyeing and weaving wool.
- Visit the circular terraces of Moray, used for agricultural experiments.
