Short Itinerary

Day 1: City Tour in Cusco

• 2-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu.
• Return to Aguas Calientes.

• Train back to Ollantaytambo and transfer to Cusco.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: City Tour in Cusco

• Upon your arrival at Cusco Airport, Llasac Travel staff will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.
• After arriving at the hotel, you will have time to acclimate to the altitude before starting the activities.
• In the afternoon, the City Tour in Cusco will begin, organized by Llasac Travel.
• The tour starts with private transportation to the city center.
• Our first stop will be the Cusco Cathedral in the Plaza de Armas for a guided visit.
• After the Cathedral, we will walk to Qoricancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun, where Inca and Spanish cultures blend together.
• Following the visit to Qoricancha, we will head outside Cusco to visit the Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Center, where our guide will explain its impressive stone walls.
• We will continue with a visit to the mysterious ceremonial site of Qenqo.
• To conclude the tour, we will visit the ruins of Pucapucara and Tambomachay, where you will learn more about Inca civilization.
• We will return to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel.

Day 2: Full-Day Machu Picchu

• Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Cusco, provided by Llasac Travel.
• The Llasac Travel team will pick you up and take you to the Ollantaytambo train station.
• You will board the train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying spectacular views along the way.
• Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, Llasac Travel staff will be waiting to accompany you to the bus station.
• From there, we will take the bus to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary.
• Once inside, you will enjoy a 2-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu, where a professional Llasac Travel guide will explain the rich history and secrets of this wonder.
• After the tour, we will return to Aguas Calientes by bus.
• Enjoy a buffet lunch in Aguas Calientes, organized by Llasac Travel.
• After lunch, you will have free time to visit the artisan market or explore Machu Picchu Pueblo.
• At the scheduled time, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo.
• Once in Ollantaytambo, Llasac Travel’s private transportation will take you back to Cusco.
• We will drop you off at your hotel to end this memorable day.

Day 3: End of Our Journey

• Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel, courtesy of Llasac Travel.
• You will have a free day for self-guided activities, allowing you to explore Cusco at your own pace or rest before departure.
• At the corresponding time, Llasac Travel will pick you up and transfer you to the airport, ensuring a smooth and punctual departure.
